200 members have been randomly selected to complete a short online survey by an MSc student who is researching Practice Nurses & acute cardiovascular care.  Please check your e-mail inbox and if you received this e-mail, please take a moment to complete the survey - the researcher would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks.

P.S. The random sampling was done by Lisa Nolan, IPNA Admin, i.e. the researcher did not have access to any members details at any stage.

Thanks to all who have renewed their membership for 2012 - receipts have been issued for payments received and your details have been added to the 2012 database.  New passwords for the Members Area have been issued by text and letter today.

Anyone who has not yet renewed their membership can still send back their form and payment, but please do so as soon as possible.

IPNA ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2011 NEWS & DATES FOR 2012

There was a great attendance at the IPNA Annual Educational Conference on 14th/15th October 2011 in the Tullamore Court Hotel (hosted by the IPNA South Tipperary Branch).  We hope that all delegates enjoyed the weekend and found the educational speakers, clinical workshops and research presentations to be interesting and valuable for their day-to-day practice.  We also hope you enjoyed all the networking, laughter and the annual catch up with friends & colleagues!

Congratulations to the winners of the various educational awards, huge thanks to the NEC Officers who stood down from their roles at the AGM and a warm welcome to the new NEC Officers who were elected to those roles.

Two of the speakers' presentations have been posted in the Members Area of this website.

Check out the forthcoming issue of Nursing in General Practice for a full round up of all conference news, photos and the winning entry to the IPNA Clinical Award on Obesity.
