OLCHC - Caring for the Child with a Life-Limiting Condition

LEVEL A - 1 day programme - remaining dates and venues:
Tuesday 7th September 2010 - Hotel Kilmore, Cavan (closing date for booking is 16th July).
Tuesday 2nd November 2010 - Red Cow Moran Hotel, Dublin

LEVEL B - 7 day programme over 6 weeks - remaining dates during 2010:
AUTUMN: September 13, 14, 21, 28 October 5, 12, 19.
WINTER: November 10, 11, 17, 24 December 1, 8, 15.
Venue: Centre of Children’s Nurse Education, Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.

LEVEL A - 1 DAY PROGRAMMES

This one day awareness programme is for nurses / midwives and healthcare professionals who provide care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. It aims to raise awareness and understanding of the complex and ongoing needs of these children and their families.  Organisation: The Irish Hospice Foundation and Centre of Children's Nurse Education, Crumlin, Dublin 12

Remaining dates and venues:

Cost:  Free and Lunch provided.
 

LEVEL B - 7 DAY PROGRAMMES OVER 6 WEEKS

Level B is an in-depth programme of study for nursing staff directly involved in caring for children with a life-limiting condition and their families. It involves 7 theoretical study days over a 6 week time-frame.
Organisation: The Irish Hospice Foundation and Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.

Remaining dates for Level B programmes during 2010:
AUTUMN:    September 13, 14, 21, 28     October 5, 12, 19.
WINTER:     November 10, 11, 17, 24       December 1, 8, 15.
Venue: Centre of Children’s Nurse Education, Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
 

Cost: The programme is free and a small bursary will be available to support staff.
