Univadis - online Learning Modules
Univadis Medical Website provides access to 350 BMJ Learning Modules, regularly updated patient information leaflets, 3D Anatomy and may other resources.
UNIVADIS is an independent medical website and all content on the site comes from credible third party sources. Univadis provides Health Care Professionals with the opportunity to be more informed by providing them access to high-quality, up-to-the-minute medical information through some of the most respected on-line databases (TRIP, GPNotebook) as well as providing innovative learning tools including 3DAnatomy and the BraunwaldPlus image library.
Recent additions to the site include Patient Information Leaflets, in partnership with patient.co.uk.
MSD recently partnered with BMJ Learning, one of the world's most trusted, independent providers of online medical learning, to bring Irish doctors and nurses access to 350 learning modules. The modules are all peer-reviewed and deal with a wide range of issues in general practice and hospital medicine. Sample modules, which are specifically targeted at nurses include:
Caring for patients with pressure ulcers
Postnatal depression
Migraine: diagnosis and prevention
Alcohol screening and intervention
There are numerous other modules also available free for nurses and doctors through www.univadis.ie
MSD are continually updating and adding content based on feedback to ensure the website is relevant and up-to-date. With this in mind, the univadis team will be looking to add additional content relevant to nurses in the coming months. univadis®, is available free to all Irish Healthcare Professionals and is offered as a service by Merck Sharp & Dohme Ireland (Human Health) Limited. www.univadis.ie Nurses will need to provide their An Bord Altranais PIN number at registration.
